King Threadfin Salmon Fish Fingers


Kids love fish fingers. Healthy, protein-rich, omega-3 filled, with an irresistible crispy crumb that your kids will just love!

*Caution, may be irresistible for adults too.

Ingredients 

  • King Threadfin Salmon Fillets cut into 2cm x 5cm strips (roughly) 
  • 1 cup plain flour 
  • Pinch of salt 
  • 2-3 Whole eggs 
  • 80ml Milk 
  • Bread Crumbs, *homemade or store bought

 

Method

  1. Place flour in a large plate and set aside 
  2. Combine eggs, milk and a pinch of salt in a shallow bowl
  3. Place breadcrumbs on a separate plate 
  4. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 180*c 
  5. Dust fish in the flour, dip in egg mixture and finally coat in the bread crumbs 
  6. Carefully place into hot oil and cook until crumbs are a crispy golden brown. Cooking time roughly 3 – 4 minutes 
  7. Place fish fingers on paper towel to drain oil

 

Serve with your choice of sauce and hot chips 

 

* King Threadfin Salmon may also be substituted for Barramundi
